Retribution Paladin Seals is updated for Patch 4.3.  In the past, Ret Paladins use to have an arsenal of seals to choose from.  Now, we have two.  One is for single target DPS, and one is for AoE DPS.  It’s a pretty easy switch-off.

This system doesn’t seem like it will be changing any time soon, so get used to Seal of Truth and Seal of Righteousness being your only options.

Seal of Truth

[Seal of Truth] is your seal of choice in PvE for 3 or less targets.  Once you hit 4 targets or more, this seal starts losing its potency.  You will almost always be using this seal for boss fights, unless AoE is required for a certain phase.  Don’t forget this seal also ties into Glyph of Seal of Truth, netting 10 expertise when active.

Seal of Righteousness

[Seal of Righteousness] is your AoE seal, usable when fighting 4 targets or more.  Using it at anything less than 4 becomes a DPS loss.  Seal of Righteousness is also the seal I used for leveling.  If for anyreason SoR seems slow for killing in pre-85 levels, try SoT out.
