Here I have compiled a list of the most frequently asked questions I see from readers and in my inbox. Some of these may seem pretty basic and simple, but there are a vast array of players who visit this site, both beginners and advanced. 1. What is our main DPS stat?
Strength. Hands Down.
2. Why are hit and expertise so important in terms of being capped?
Because when you do not cap either of these stats, you stand a chance for your attacks to miss or be dodged. When that happens, you deal no damage, which can seriously hurt your DPS. Boss fights in end-game content require everyone to pump out as much DPS as possible, so it is optimal to make sure you never miss or be dodged.
3. I know I need to gem pure strength, but when is it appropriate to use hybrid gems?

4. Should I be trying to reach the haste soft cap?
No, while I know haste was such a crucial stat in Wrath of the Lich King, it is now our worst stat. Since you will not be aiming for haste as a stat, it is not necessary to worry about the haste cap at this point in time.
5. What weapon enchant is best at level 85?
Landslide is the best enchant for us at the present time. See Retribution Paladin Enchants.
6. If I am expertise capped without Glyph of Seal of Truth, do I still need to use it?
No, you can then opt for the next best Prime glyph, Crusader Strike. See Retribution Paladin Glyphs.
Leveling FAQ
1. What spec should I level a Paladin as?
Retribution! Protection isn’t awful, but you will kill stuff and fly through the levels much quicker with Retribution.
2. What glyphs should I take first when leveling?
My choices for the first Prime, Major, and Minor glyphs are: [Glyph of Templar's Verdict], [Glyph of the Ascetic Crusader], and [Glyph of Righteousness]
3. What weapon enchant is best for leveling?
For heirloom weapons, your best bet is going to be Crusader. For normal weapons up to level 60, you will want Crusder as well. For normal weapons levels 60 to 70, opt for [Berserking].
