Retribution Paladin Expertise Cap is updated for Patch 4.3.  Expertise rating reduces a target’s ability to dodge or parry an attack.  While bosses and mobs can dodge from any position, they cannot parry a target that is attacking them from behind.  So, Ret Paladins should primarily be attacking and DPSing from behind their target.

The expertise cap is 26 at level 85, or 781 expertise rating.  This will remove any chance an enemy has to dodge an attack.  While parry chance will be lowered, it is impossible to completely remove all parries from the table.  But remember, we don’t worry about parries since we attack frobehind.  Parries can only happen from the front.

Don’t forget, Glyph of Seal of Truth adds 10 expertise on its own when Seal of Truth and Seal of Righteousness are active.  So that leaves only 16 expertise to be acquired through gear and reforging.
